I have relocated and this area is chuck full of log homes. Can someone point me in a direction for reading material. Too late this season but I plan on hitting it hard in early spring. Just did a beautiful tongue and groove ceiling on a porch of a log home.

"What products should I use" and "What the best deck stain" are but two of the often asked questions. The answer is that really isn't a one size fits all solution. Much depends on your location. What this proves is that A.C. is an excellent product for dry/hot climates loaded with UV. I'd like to see these tests done in more humid more northernly climates with loads of snow during the winters.
