Last night I was coming in from a job at about 8:00 and it was still 85°.
Looks like it will be cooler (low 90s) the next few days, but we've already had 99° with indexes past 105 and it's just the beginning of summer. I hate the sweat drops on the wood that show up in the stain. I think passing 40 has made me feel the heat much worse than I did before.

As far as passing 40 yrs. of age, no sympathy from this quarter. I'm 57 and my main helper turns 50 next month. I'm considering changing the co. name to Decrepit WoodCare.

For all my friends in the south, I think we now know how hot it will get. What we don't know is how long it will stay this way. Just noticed this post was six weeks old and now we are 97-101 or so on the ground with humidity at 80%. We had indexes at 115 here last week. I love it.
