It was a BEHR… but now its ARMSTRONG

This PT Pine deck was finished by the homeowner with BEHR Premium Acrylic approximately a year ago only to have it blister and peel. It was probably one of the toughest strip jobs we have done to date because not only were there 3 coats of BEHR applied (it was SOLID) they also did the entire underside of the whole deck as well. Our normal day to day finish removers wouldn’t budge it so we brought out the big guns with an airless applied paint and coating remover with the consistency of honey. The stripper was applied - allowed to dwell for 2-3 hours and viola.. the deck was freed from that claws of the BEHR. We finished the deck out with a buffing and two coats of Armstrong Clark Cedar Semitrans.
